MALONE, Carolyn F., 78, MARS HILL, October 3, 2012. There will be a graveside service at King’s Grove Cemetery in Mars Hill on Monday, October 15, 2012, at 1 p.m. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Mars Hill.

    MARS HILL – Carolyn F. Malone, 78, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Mars Hill Medical Center.  She was born on May 31, 1934, in Mars Hill, the daughter of Elmer and Grace (Hallett) Collins.
    Carolyn will be remembered as a loving mother who enjoyed staying home full-time raising her family. She also enjoyed Beano at the Elks Club, bowling and traveling to Las Vegas.
    Carolyn is survived by her children and their spouses, Deborah and Kenneth Robertson of Lawrenceville, GA, Cathy and John Bradley of Easton, Susan Cook of Mars Hill, and Michael Malone of Mars Hill. In addition, she is survived by her siblings, Gloria Connolly of Perham, Glenda Bell of Mars Hill, a half sister Patricia Santiago of Presque Isle; and her favorite cousin, Delores Ferrino. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Sarah Young of Charlotte, NC, Chelsey Cook of Presque Isle, and Kristen Cook of Levant; as well as, several nieces and nephews.
    In addition to her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her husband, Carl Malone; and her siblings, Dale Collins, Ann Marie Williamson; and a special sister-in-law, Elizabeth Collins.
    There will be a graveside service at King’s Grove Cemetery in Mars Hill on Monday, October 15, 2012, at 1 p.m., Rev. Sue Brown officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Central Aroostook Humane Society or their favorite charity.
