Earlier this year, the shelter competed against other nonprofits, as part of Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good. The facebook competition matched five nonprofits against each other over a 100-day span, with the top vote-getter for each day winning a new car for their agency. Pictured at the recent presentation, in front from left, are: Betsy Hallett, CAHS manager; Annie Breslin, Toyota’s district sales manager from Boston; Jeanette Hallett; Jamie York, sales manager from York’s of Houlton; Christine Robinson, CAHS Board president; Vi Belanger, CAHS treasurer; and CAHS employees Crystal Patterson and Sharon Brown.
