CARIBOU — On Nov. 5, the Caribou VFW Auxiliary held an awards ceremony at Hilltop School for the Auxiliary’s annual Americanism Coloring Contest.
Eighty-six second-grade students participated. Each student received a pencil with the Pledge of Allegiance on it, a ruler with a picture of a president on it and a booklet on flag etiquette. A flag certificate was given to the top 10 students, and a monetary award was given to the top three.
