The Katahdin Public Library has received 100 new storybooks for their children’s collection through the Brownstone Foundation of New York. A simple process of application to the Brownstone Book Fund via Maine State Library made this possible. Delivered through Brodart, the books arrived just after the holidays and are processed and ready for reading and borrowing.

Katahdin Public Library has used this bonanza to replace a number of well-worn stories and to add titles to the reading tables. We’re very delighted to see the new books in our children’s area and invite all to come and enjoy them both at the library and to borrow for reading again and again.
    Katahdin Public Library is open Monday 9 a.m. to noon and 1-6 p.m.; Wednesday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1-5 p.m.
