Bray wins annual science fair

    The winner of the Woodland Consolidated School’s annual science fair was seventh-grader Scott Bray, shown here explaining his project on maple syrup to judge Wanda Anderson. Woodland’s sixth- through eighth-grade students participated in the science fair on April 25. Also placing in the science fair were: seventh-grader Lane Moir with his project on gold mining, second place; seventh-grader Makenzie Conroy with her project “Motors Make the World Go Round,” third place; eighth-grader Simoné Michaud with her project, Hand Sanatizer vs. Soap, fourth place; fifth-place was a tie between seventh-graders Carter Moir, with his project on water purification, and Caleb Trombley, with his project on magnetic braking. Honorable mention went to Meghan Cole, Kyle Morris and Wyatt Taggett.
