On July 31, the Happy Losers held their meeting at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls. The co-leader opened the meeting with the usual pledge and roll call.
Ten weighed-in and eight attended. Loretta Bouchard was the loser of the week and also Brenda Raymond. Shirley Sides was runner-up. Great job ladies.
The secretary and treasurer gave reports for the week. Riva Hawkes led the program for the week. Her topic was about vitamins — some we should take and some that you don’t need. Meeting was informative and interesting. Also Riva read a poem to end the meeting.
