RE/MAX now has four locations

throughout County

RE/MAX Central has Aroostook County covered, with full-time brokers from Fort Kent to Houlton ready to meet your needs. And because of the RE/MAX franchise, true world-wide coverage is offered.

“Buyers from out of the area can easily connect with us because they know the RE/MAX name and can find us on the Internet,” said one of the owners, Lehrle Kieffer.
RE/MAX offers full-time, experienced brokers, ready to meet all your property needs, whether you’re looking for a home, a home-away-from-home or someplace to set up business.
The owners, Jane and Paul Towle and Robert and Lehrle Kieffer, bring years of experience to the business.
“The Kieffer family has been in real estate in The County since 1984. When the Towles added their years of experience we became a RE/MAX office in 2004,” said Lehrle Kieffer.
With four locations in Aroostook County — 428 Frenchville Road in Fort Kent, 101 High Street in Caribou, 612 Main Street in Presque Isle and 1 Kendall Street in Houlton — RE/MAX Central has staff conveniently located to serve your real estate needs.
“We currently have 11 brokers and are recruiting for more in each of our three locations,” she said.
The business specializes in listing and selling of all types of real estate.
“We handle listings for homes, land, camps, commercial locations, as well as running businesses,” Kieffer said.
She said having such a presence in the region gives staff an opportunity to get to know the people they serve on a local level.
“Community involvement is important to RE/MAX brokers. RE/MAX specializes in customer service excellence,” she said.
Brokers devote a lot of time and energy into ensuring a smooth transition from buyer to owner and from owner to seller, assisting in each step of the process to be sure everything is handled properly.
“We take the time to walk buyers and sellers through all of the steps, all of the paperwork, all of the state-required mandates, to be sure everyone is fully informed,” said Kieffer. “Customers rave about the RE/MAX service that works for them 24/7.”
RE/MAX Central brokers offer experience when you need it.
“Working full-time for you, when you want to buy or sell, our experience really pays off. We’ve been around since the early 1980s, when interest rates were 14 percent. So we know challenging times and can help buyers and sellers maneuver their way through to a fair deal with good financing,” Kieffer said.
Kieffer said staff takes a modest approach to the real estate business.
“We don’t like to brag, so we only advertise our properties that are for sale, but folks ask us how the market is. We’re here to tell you, RE/MAX Central is selling properties,” she said.
Kieffer said now is a great time to consider purchasing that property you’ve had your eye on, whether you’re looking at buying your first home, a bigger home or business site.
Kieffer also mentioned that they “connect globally and participate locally,” noting that “we still rack up more volunteer hours with our brokers than most businesses.”
