    CLEAVES, Helen F., 87, EASTON, at Mars Hill, December 19, 2013. Interment will be held in the spring at Estes Cemetery in Easton. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    EASTON – Helen F. Cleaves, 87, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2013, in Mars Hill, with her family at her side. She was born in Bath, New Brunswick, on June 29, 1926, to the late John and Dora (Bramley) Brown.
    She worked several years for Vahlsing’s, but spent over 20 years working in A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital cafeteria where she retired and later moved to Florida. She lived in Florida for 19 years before returning to Maine in 2010. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life. She spent her life living and loving them. She and Mel absolutely loved to travel the country, ride motorcycles and camp. She loved to attend any and all ballgames or motorsports event, that her children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren were participating in.
    She is survived by her husband, Melvin Cleaves of Easton; five children, Sonny Robbins and his wife, Linda of Easton, Richard Robbins and his wife, Karen of Cross Lake, Cheryl Williams of Beech-wood, NB, Debbie Dionne and her husband, John of Easton, and Randy Robbins and his girlfriend, Bonnie Bishop of Washburn. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
    She was predeceased by her son, Tony Robbins; daughter, Patsy Robbins; and great-grandson, Aiden Thibodeau.
    Friends called 10 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2013, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where services were held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jason Coffman officiating. Interment will be held in the spring at Estes Cemetery in Easton. Donations may be made in Helen’s memory to the Easton Wesleyan Church, PO BOX 15, Easton, ME  04740.
