Skidgel, Lena M., 75, February 26, 2014.  Interment to be held in the Woodland Cemetery.  Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

 

AR Lena SkidgelWOODLAND – Lena M. Skidgel, 75, wife of the late Edgar Skidgel, died February 26, 2014, at Caribou. She was born in Woodland on November 30, 1938, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mabel (McLaughlin) Brown.
    Mrs. Skidgel was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Woodland.
    She is survived by her children, Pandarae Albert and husband, Morris, of British Columbia, Ronald Skidgel and wife, Laura, of Malden, MA, Edgar Skidgel Jr. and wife, April, of Lewiston, Alan Skidgel and wife, Julie, of Milo, Melody McDougal and husband, Galen, and Sandra Swan and husband, Charles, all of Woodland; a brother and sister-in-law, Vincent and Carolyn Brown of Sangerville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Gloria and Philip Ketch and Darlene and Ronnie Griffeth, all of Woodland, and Pamela and Steven Goodine of Tennessee; and a sister-in-law, Phyliss Brown, of Woodland; many grand-children, great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Skidgel was predeceased by a sister, Alice Adams, and a brother, Freddie Brown.
    Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou 4-6 p.m. Friday February 28, 2014, where funeral services were held at 6 p.m. with Rev. Ron Rosser and Rev. Otto Palmer officiating. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery. www. mocklerfuneralhome.com.
