Indoor soccer tourney
The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its second annual indoor soccer tournament for high school boys’ and girls’ teams. The event is slated for Saturday, March 15 and will take place at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. The tourney is a six-on-six format.
The deadline to register is Wednesday, March 12 and the fee is $75 per team.

Volleyball tourneys scheduled in County
The high school volleyball season is under way and Aroostook League tournaments will begin this week. The Division II girls’ tourney is slated for Friday at Washburn District High School beginning at 1:30 p.m. and the Division II boys’ competition is Saturday at 9 a.m. at Fort Fairfield Middle High School.
Next Wednesday, March 19, the Division I tourneys will take place, with Caribou hosting the girls’ event and Presque Isle the boys’ event.
Musical On Ice
The Northern Maine Figure Skating Club will present its 32nd annual Musical On Ice Saturday, March 15 at the Forum in Presque Isle.
The theme is “The Lion King.” Showtimes are 1 and 7 p.m. and tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
