ISLAND FALLS, Maine — The “County Walk Toward A Cure,” a fund-raising race/walk event for Sarah’s House of Holden and the Bridge To Hope of Houlton, is coming May 24 in Island Falls.
To help spread the word, a presentation of the event is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1, at Southern Aroostook Community School. Representatives of the two organizations will discuss the types of services they offer. All proceeds from the walk will go to the two groups.
