After two years of serving as pastor at the Houlton United Methodist Church, Rev. Patrice Goodwin and her husband, Rev. John Goodwin, are retiring and moving to Eastport.
Pastor Pat has touched the hearts of many as she has ministered here in Houlton. Her dedication to visitation and her weekly Bible studies at area nursing homes have been a blessing to many. She has also been involved in many other ministries within the church. In addition to her pastoral duties at the HUMC, Pastor Pat preached at the Houlton Congregational Church occasionally.
“The members of our church body wish Pastor Pat and her husband, Pastor John, God’s blessings in their retirement years,” said Jim Blois, chairman of the HUMC administrative board.
