Lots of fun is planned for this weekend’s 15th annual Show n’ Shine event held at the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum in Littleton.
The Saturday and Sunday show is free to the public and the participants and is scheduled rain or shine. The Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum will also be opened throughout the weekend and tours will be given for a nominal fee.
The unofficial start to the weekend begins Friday night with the Cruise Night held each week at Tim Hortons, followed by a bonfire.
Saturday is “Fun Day” with car games, music and an afternoon ice cream cruise. The day starts at 10 a.m. and pre-registration will be held all day for the Sunday Show n’ Shine.
On Saturday night, a roast beef supper will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum and a bonfire will follow at a North Country Cruiser member’s home.
On Show Day, a Sunday breakfast will be offered at 7 a.m. at the food booth located on the museum grounds and then registration for the Show n’ Shine will be from 9 a.m. to noon.
The show begins at 10 a.m. with judging of the cars, with awards will be presented in 20-plus classes on Sunday around 2 p.m.
Editor’s Note: Event coordinator Tim McAtee died unexpectedly Tuesday morning. The event is going to carry on this weekend in his memory. A dedication will be held in his honor during the event.
