Light parade on Friday

LIMESTONE, Maine — The Limestone Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual Holiday Light Parade on Saturday, Nov. 29 starting at 6 p.m.

This year’s parade theme is “Christmas Movies” and lineup begins at the Limestone Community School at 5:15 p.m. Judging occurs at 5:30, and the parade makes its way down Main Street at 6 p.m.
Kids can hop on the Santa Express at the end of the parade to take a ride up to the Limestone Recreation Department, where they can visit Santa Claus.
For extra holly jolly holiday fun, folks can come watch the Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony before the parade at 5:30 p.m. The tree is located at the Rotary Park, across from Al-Bear’s on Main Street.
