The Boys and Girls Club of Presque Isle and Maine Families Home Visiting Program at the Aroostook Band of Micmacs signed a Memorandum of Understanding on January 12, agreeing to cooperate in a way that is mutually beneficial to both parties and to the target population they serve. The Boys and Girls Club of Presque and Maine Families are both conducted by the Aroostook Band of Micmacs. The Boys and Girls Club of Presque Isle is working to help youth of all backgrounds develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders. Maine Families is a statewide network of community teams serving the needs of pregnant women and parents with newborns. The purpose of the agreement is to facilitate staff better equipping families with tools and resources that can give every child the opportunity to succeed in the future.
