    POWERS, Angelina “Angie”, 91, PRESQUE ISLE, at Fort Kent May 4, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Presque Isle. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    PRESQUE ISLE – Angelina “Angie” Powers, 91, passed away, May 4, 2015, at Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent. She was born on November 11, 1923, in Connor, ME, the daughter of Peter and Carina (Martin) Guerette.
    She was a member of the Spragueville Extension for over 50 years and a faithful member of St. Mary’s Church, Parish of the Precious Blood. Angie was a loving caregiver to family, friends and neighbors, and a devoted potato farmer’s wife who made the best potato donuts imaginable. She will be missed, truly missed.
    Angie is survived by her daughter, Mary Condon and her husband, Kevin, of Mapleton; sons, Peter Powers and his wife, Jane, of Durham, ME, Patrick Powers and his wife, Rose Marie of Yarmouth, Daniel Powers and his fiancé, Debbie Plumber of Presque Isle; sisters, Edna Albert of Fort Kent, Corinne Levesque of Caribou, and Arlene Elliott of Presque Isle; brothers, Phillip Guerrette of Washburn, and Nelson Guerrette of Presque Isle; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four sisters, Lorraine Tardy, Marlene Forbes, Gloria St. Peter and Annie Drost; and five brothers, Carl, Paul, Reno, Peter and Wilfred Guerrette.
    Friends may call 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., with Father Kyle Doustou, Celebrant. Interment will follow the service at St.Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, North Main Street, Presque Isle. A reception will follow interment at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
