HOULTON, Maine — The American Legion Post No. 47 will hold a Veterans Day ceremony starting at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11 at Monument Park. Guest speakers will include members of the American Legion Post, Ladies Auxiliary and Houlton Town Manager Butch Asselin.
Following the ceremony, a small luncheon will be held for veterans and their families at the Legion Post on the Bangor Road.
The Houlton Lodge of Elks will once again host a free dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. for all veterans and spouses. The meal will consist of roast pork, stuffing, potato and all the fixings. There is no cost for the meal.
