Berube brings planning expertise to arts center

    PRESQUE ISLE — The Wintergreen Arts Center recently announced that Amy Joy Berube has been named the organization’s private party and event planner.

    In her new role, Berube is coordinating Wintergreen’s effort to make its State Street location more available for private and corporate functions.  SH BUBERUBE 17 16 17528386
    From birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, holiday parties, corporate events and more, Berube is an expert at orchestrating memorable, affordable events for groups, businesses and individual clients.
    She joins Wintergreen with over 20 years of experience in retail, sales, customer service and business. She and her husband, Michael Barker, owned and operated All Dec’d Out, a party supply and decorating business located in Presque Isle, for 14 years.
    Berube holds a bachelor’s degree in communication with a concentration in business from the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

    “Her depth of knowledge and experience in event planning, coupled with her customer service skills, is exactly what we need.”

    Berube and her husband live in Washburn with their three children; two daughters, ages 16 and 12, and a son soon turning 6 years old. She most recently worked in the direct sales industry and finds joy in being a stay-at-home mom.
