The first week of bowling has begun for women in the Birch Point Bowling League in Island Falls. The standings as of Oct. 18 are: 1, W.W.B, 8-0; 2, County Girls, 7-1; 3, Twisted Sisters, 7-1; 4, Incredibowls, 1-7; 5, See You Next Tuesday, 1-7; and 6, Gutter Gang, 0-8.
The top six averages were Chris Lash, 101.3; Dede Edkins, 101; Patti Hartin, 97.6; Jackie Anderson, 96; Sherry Porter, 95; and Donna Crandall, 91.3.
The weekly High Single went to Lash with a 120, while the weekly high three also went to Lash at 304.
