A house fire broke out on Friday afternoon, April 7 in Presque Isle at approximately 2:30. There are few details at this time, however the Presque Isle Fire Department was battling a house fire at 4 p.m. on 28 Edgemont Drive in Presque Isle near the Northern Maine Community College campus. Presque Isle Police Department and ambulance personnel are also on scene. Fire officials are currently unavailable for comment and no further details are available at this time. The Star-Herald has a reporter on the scene and will provide further information as it becomes available.
