There will be a vote by secret ballot at the Washburn Civic Center on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. regarding the Washburn Police Department options.

This vote will give people the opportunity to vote to have their own Washburn Police Department or to contract with another agency for law enforcement.

Box Tops for Education

The Washburn District Elementary School continually collects Box Tops for Education. The process is simple, just send in clipped box tops found on hundreds of products to the school. Money earned goes towards resources like books, headphones, and other supplies for students. This is a great way to help support the school. Any Box Tops sent are greatly appreciated.
