An Easton man who had been missing since July 5 was found and is safe, according to the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office.
The family of 53-year-old Steve Shaw of Easton had been looking for him and then asked for the public’s help locating him.
Michael Shaw said Monday that his brother had abandoned his vehicle last Wednesday or Thursday around Caribou and had not been heard from since Wednesday, July 5.
On Tuesday, July 11, the sheriff’s office announced on its Facebook page that Shaw had been located and given a ride to reunite with family. The post did not indicate where he was found.
“No additional information will be released,” the post said.
