To the editor:
On May 23, a small number of veterans and volunteers met at Veterans Memorial Park [in Presque Isle] to improve the entranceway.A special thanks to Chris Allen at Allen’s Environmental for donating the material that was used, and also for donating the use of his truck for hauling material. Also, a special thank you to Chris’ father, Kenny Allen, for helping load material onto the truck.
I would like to give thanks to Al Saucier for donating his time and equipment to help with the job.
A very special thank you to all who volunteer.
