The Oakfield Senior Citizens group gathered for its Aug. 16 meeting at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile clubhouse in Oakfield. After the potluck luncheon the meeting was called to order with the Lord’s Prayer followed by The Flag Salute.
Verna Boone was the lucky winner of the 50/50. August birthdays were recognized. All reports were read and accepted.
The results of our auction at our last meeting were discussed. Delores Locke reported that the Houlton Senior Citizens have invited all of us to join them at their meeting in the near future. After all business was completed Sandra Grant and Sandy Buzzell entertained with great music. Everyone was singing right along with them, come again soon.
