HRH First Baby of 2018

John Patrick Austin became the first baby born at Houlton Regional Hospital for 2018 when he arrived at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2. He is the son of Sarah Toner and Jaxon Austin of Hodgdon. The baby weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 20 inches long. For being the first baby of 2018 at HRH, the couple was presented with a generous gift basket of items donated by staff and local businesses. (Joseph Cyr)
