Presque Isle Police Department investigating burglary at counseling office

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Presque Isle Police Department is investigating the burglary of a psychiatric office on Main Street where about $500 in cash was stolen.

On Monday April 23, a burglary was reported at Central Aroostook Psychiatric Services at 521 Main Street, said Presque Isle Police Chief Matt Irwin.

Irwin said that about $500 in cash was taken from the office, although no medications were reported missing.

Irwin said police officers have taken fingerprints and shoe prints as part of the investigation, but have not found any potential suspects.
