CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Vikings had winners in three of the four divisions at the Aroostook League Middle School Tennis Championships, held Saturday at Caribou High School.
Ashlyn Bouchard was the girls’ singles winner, topping Madison Hedrich of Presque Isle in the finals, 8-2.
Caribou swept the doubles titles. For girls, Mia Theriault and Emmie McIntyre bested Houlton’s Elena Ardell and Ella McCarthy, 8-2. In boys’ play, Alden Wilcox and Wesley LaPointe edged Van Buren’s Mikail Deschaine and Jaiden Chase, 8-6.
Presque Isle’s Landon Thompson recorded the triumph in boys’ singles. He defeated teammate Matthew Hedrich in the title match, 8-4.
