LIMESTONE, Maine — Limestone police report recovering from a Mapleton residence “numerous items that had been reported stolen from a business located in Limestone,” according to the department’s social media page.
The brief post does not indicate exactly where the goods were found in Mapleton, but states that on March 20 members of the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office assisted Limestone police in searching the home where they found the stolen items. The post also does not state which business in Limestone reported being robbed.
Limestone police did not immediately respond Friday to requests for more information.
According to the Facebook post, “the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.”
