Limestone hires interim manager following Dickerson’s departure

LIMESTONE, Maine — The Limestone Board of Selectpeople officially appointed Vicki Page as interim town manager on Friday, Aug. 16.

That day also was Town Manager Elizabeth Dickerson’s final day, according to Selectboard Chairman Walt Elliott.

Dickerson officially announced her resignation in mid-June. Elliott said that she made this decision for “family reasons,” and plans to move downstate to be closer to her daughter.

Limestone hired Dickerson on Dec. 21, 2018. She previously served on Rockland City Council and also represented her hometown of Rockland as well as Owl’s Head in the Maine State Legislature. Before moving to Limestone in early 2019, she had lived in Colorado for four years.
