LIMESTONE, Maine — Limestone’s selectboard decided to interview two out of seven applicants for town manager following a Sept. 25 executive session held during an emergency meeting.

Vicki Page has served as town manager since the previous manager, Elizabeth Dickerson, departed on Aug. 16 to move downstate to be closer to family. In addition to serving as interim manager, Page also works as the town’s clerk, tax collector and treasurer.

The executive session, which was not open to the public, only lasted approximately 10 to 15 minutes, according to Page.

One interview is planned for Oct. 5 and the other, which was planned for Oct. 2, will be rescheduled.

Though Page is currently wearing many hats while also serving as the interim town manager, she said work in the town office continues to go smoothly, adding that she enjoys the position.
