Easton seniors are invited to attend the annual holiday dinner at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Easton Odd Fellows’ Hall on 23 Station Rd.
The event is free for Easton residents.
Cleanup day
The Town of Easton will hold a cleanup day on Saturday, Oct. 26.
Bring household junk to the town garage on the Fry Pan Road such as appliances, tires, furniture, wood, etc. Wood products must be separated. No household garbage or used oil will be accepted, and no commercial loads are allowed.
There will also be a collection point next to the recycling igloos behind the town office to dispose of electronics such as televisions, computers, monitors, printers, fluorescent bulbs, circuit boards, cell phones, fax machines, scanners, laptops, DVD/VCR players, batteries and copiers.
All recyclables must be deposited in the igloos behind the town office. Collection is for Easton residents only. Coordinate your fall cleaning with the Town Clean Up Day and make use of our efforts to make Easton a more beautiful place to live.

Harvest Party
Join us for Easton’s Annual Harvest Party on Saturday, October 26th 4:00 to 6:00PM. There will be carnival fun & games, bounce house, inflatable slide, a 50/50 Raffle and cake walk. The cost of admission is a non-perishable food item for the Easton Friends Helping Friends Food Pantry. Costumes are encouraged.
Krispy Kreme fundraiser
The Easton PTO is selling doughnuts to help purchase new playground equipment.
Surprise family, friends or co-workers with fresh, delicious Krispy Kreme doughnuts. These must be ordered and paid for by Wednesday, October 30.
Doughnuts can be picked up at Easton High School of Monday, Nov. 4, from 5:30-7.
Cards for a Cause
Your friends, family and co-workers will love these beautifully handmade greeting cards in reusable keepsake box. The cost is $30. Each box of cards has 30 cards with coordinating envelopes.
There are five different assortments available: Thanks and blanks, kids’ birthday, all-occasion box (two options) and holiday card collection.

All proceeds will go toward updating Easton Elementary School’s playground.
Trunk or Treat
Join Easton Wesleyan Church for a great time of trunk or treat starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 210 Center Road in Easton. Trunks filled with candy outside and candy, games and fun for everyone indoors.
Meteorology program
On Saturday, Nov. 2, from 3 to 4:15 p.m. at the Francis Malcolm Science Center, meteorologist Ted Shapiro will present “WeatherSmart.”
