DYER BROOK, Maine — A 29-year-old Dyer Brook man received minor injuries after losing control of his vehicle on U.S. Route 2 around 10 p.m. Saturday.

Angel Dominguez was traveling south on U.S. Route 2 in Dyer Brook in a 2007 Toyota RAV 4 when the sport utility vehicle rolled onto its side and slid across both lanes of the road before coming to a rest near a utility pole, according to the Maine State Police.

Dominguez was traveling too fast for the road conditions, the police report stated.

The vehicle became stuck on two guy-wires leading police to call Versant Power to ensure safe removal of the vehicle.

Dominguez suffered minor injuries and was treated on scene by Oakfield Fire Department first responders. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Porter’s Garage in Island Falls.
