Sheriff’s Office seeks public’s help in locating missing teen

HODGDON, Maine — The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a 14-year-old Hodgdon teen, missing since Jan. 28.

Sheriff Shawn Gillen said Wednesday that his agency has had no success locating Hayloe Sherman of Hodgdon, who went missing on Friday afternoon, Jan. 28, while in the Houlton area.

Sherman is described as 5-feet, 2-inches tall, weighing about 104 pounds with black hair. It is believed that she may have been picked up by someone in the Houlton area. She may have been in the Calais area on the evening of Saturday, Jan. 29.
