Caribou police are asking the public for help locating a woman they say was driving a car that led police on a high-speed chase in Presque Isle and Caribou at around 10:15 p.m. Monday.

Presque Isle Officer Sean Farrell tried twice to pull over a gray Dodge Dart while it allegedly sped through the downtown. Farrell stopped chasing the car at the Caribou town line where that police department picked up the chase.

Police eventually called off the chase, and issued an arrest warrant for Briana Dionne, 22, of Caribou, according to Caribou Chief Michael Gahagan.

No arrests had been made by early Tuesday afternoon, Gahagan said.

“If the public has any information about her whereabouts, please contact your local law enforcement,” Gahagan said.

The number to call is 207-493-3302.
