3-Day Outlook: Tue. Apr. 16 – Thu. Apr. 18 

High pressure will build into the region today with mostly sunny conditions over Fawkes House. Clouds increase tonight as a warm front lifts towards the region from the southwest producing a chance of rain across Lancaster and vicinity by early Wednesday. A cold front approaches Wednesday with a chance of rain in the morning then rain is likely in the afternoon into the overnight hours. There is a slight chance for thunderstorms Wednesday evening. Rain continues Wednesday night with a chance of rainThursday behind the front. Cloudy skies are expected Thursday night.

Today: Mostly sunny with a high around 74. North wind becomes west in the afternoon 3-6 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy in the evening then mostly cloudy overnight with a 20% chance of showers after midnight. Low near 50. East wind 4-6 mph overnight. 

Wednesday:  Cloudy with an 80% chance of rain, mainly in the afternoon. Rainfall totals between 1/10 and 1/4-inch. High around 62. Southeast wind 8-10 mph.

Wednesday night: Mostly cloudy with an 80% chance of rain and isolated thunderstorms in the evening. Rainfall totals between 1/10 and 1/4-inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Low near 59. East wind 8-14 mph. 

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of rain ending in the afternoon. Rainfall totals less than 1/10-inch. High around 59. East wind 9-11 mph.

Thursday night: Mostly cloudy with a 10% chance of showers. Low near 47. East wind 0-7 mph.

4-7 Day Outlook: Fri. Apr. 19 – Mon. Apr. 22

A cold front will most likely pass through Friday before stalling out to the south for the weekend into early next week. Showers are possible on Friday with the frontal passage. Canadian high pressure will approach the region for the weekend into early next week while a series of disturbances track along the boundary that is stalled to our south.
