3-Day Outlook: Wed. Oct. 9 – Fri. Oct. 11

Partly cloudy skies this morning give way to increasing cloudiness as an upper-level low pressure area approaches and crosses the region today and moves into the Maritimes Thursday. Patchy fog, patchy frost, and scattered showers are possible across the region after midnight.

Mostly cloudy skies remain across the Valley Thursday with a chance of showers. Less than 1/10-inch precipitation is anticipated. Mostly cloudy skies continue Thursday night with a chance of showers before precipitation tapers off after midnight as the upper-low moves away.

High pressure builds in Friday with breezy northwest winds gusting up to 25 mph as the incoming high and departing low create a pressure gradient across the area. Increased cloudiness with a chance of showers is expected Friday night as a triple-point low tracking towards the St. Lawrence pulls a cold front towards the region.
