The search for a missing Aroostook County girl is continuing this weekend.
Maine state troopers, game wardens, FBI agents and volunteers will be searching several sites in New Sweden for 14-year-old Stefanie Damron starting Friday through Sunday, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The state police have described Damron as standing 5 feet tall, weighing 130 pounds, and having green eyes and shoulder-length brown hair.
She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a long-sleeve blue shirt and black Harley Davidson hiking boots.
Her family reported her missing on Sept. 24, 2024, and she hasn’t been seen since.
The FBI is still offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to Damron’s safe return or the arrest and prosecution of anyone involved in her disappearance.
