HOULTON, Maine — The Aroostook County grand jury handed up 47 indictments for June, including of a man wanted by Caribou police on multiple new charges.
Sean M. Cloney, 34, of Caribou was indicted last month for unlawful possession of drugs.
Caribou police are asking the public’s help in locating Cloney after he allegedly led officers on a high-speed chase and then disappeared on Friday.
He now faces new charges that include eluding police, driving to endanger, reckless conduct with a motor vehicle, operating after habitual offender revocation and violating conditions of release.
Cloney is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair, police said. Anyone with information should contact the Caribou Police Department at 207-493-3301.
An indictment is not a finding of guilt, but an indication that there is enough evidence in a case to move forward with a trial.
Aroostook County District Attorney Todd Collins released the indictments on June 30. The grand jury also indicted the following:

Ethan Brady, 33, Houlton: burglary and theft by unauthorized taking.
Daniel A. Bruce, 69, Houlton: domestic violence assault and obstructing the report of a crime or injury.
Daniel C. Smart, 48, Hodgdon: unlawful possession.
Stephen Guiggey, 67, Sherman Mills: aggravated criminal trespass, assault and criminal threatening.
Desiree V. Bennett, 34, Limestone: theft of services and violation of bail.
Brent J. Zetterman, 51, Connor Township: operating after revocation, failure to give correct name, improper plates and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Joshua T. Keefe, 37, Limestone: tampering with a witness and domestic violence assault (two counts).
Jeri R. Nightingale, 41, Presque Isle: operating after revocation and violation of bail.
Ursula M. Salch, 37, Limestone: assault on an officer, refusing to submit to arrest and violation of bail.
Peter Schmidt, 53, Woodland: reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, eluding an officer, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, driving to endanger and criminal operating under the influence.
Dillon J. Hadfield, 32, Presque Isle: domestic violence aggravated assault, domestic violence terrorizing, obstructing report of a crime and domestic violence assault.
Jacob A. Williams, 20, Wallagrass: assault on an officer, refusing to submit to arrest and violation of bail.
