Grand jury issues August indictments

HOULTON, Maine — The Aroostook County grand jury handed up 28 indictments for August. 

Aroostook County District Attorney Todd Collins released the indictments on Aug. 28. 

An indictment is not a finding of guilt, but an indication that there is enough evidence in a case to move forward with a trial. 

The grand jury indicted the following:

Donald Froehlich, 61, Bath: aggravated assault, criminal mischief, assault, indecent conduct and terrorizing.

Tyler R. Waterman, 42, Grand Isle: unlawful possession of drugs.

Anthony Wayne Grissom, 38, St. Agatha: domestic violence assault (two counts), terrorizing, kidnapping and criminal restraint.

Marcia R. Munson, 64, Winterville: possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Kevin Bonderson, 60, Wade: aggravated criminal mischief and failure to control or report a dangerous fire.

Darin J. St. Pierre, 42, Limestone: domestic violence assault and obstructing report of a crime.

Julie A. Condo, 56, Listuguj, Quebec: aggravated importation of drugs, aggravated trafficking of drugs and unlawful possession of drugs.

Jessica J. Levesque, 34, Van Buren: unlawful trafficking of drugs and unlawful possession of drugs.

Jordan C. Leager, 28, Ashland: theft by unauthorized taking.

Nicholas Folsom, 26, Houlton: aggravated criminal mischief, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, domestic violence assault and violating conditions of release.

Dale D. Barrows, 22, Smyrna: unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and violating conditions of release.

April M. McCausland, 53, failure to report.

Paul J. Stockley, 37, Presque Isle: aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (two counts), possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and violating conditions of release.

Brittany S. Long, 36, Houlton: theft by unauthorized taking (three counts).

Ashley L. Quint, 39, Amity: unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and aggravated unlawful furnishing of scheduled drugs.

Shane L. Graves, 35, Fort Fairfield: possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and operating after revocation.

Timmy J. Soucy, 41, St. David: operating after revocation and violating conditions of release.

Louis L. Levasseur, 66, Fort Fairfield: attempted gross sexual assault, domestic violence assault and refusing to submit to arrest.

Colby M. Campangna, 40, Presque Isle: burglary, theft by unauthorized taking and violating conditions of release.

Joshua E. Michaud, 31, Mapleton: domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence stalking and operating under the influence.

Todd E. Berube, 31, Fort Fairfield: eluding, aggravated operating after revocation, reckless conduct, driving to endanger, criminal speed and operating an unregistered vehicle.

Travis J. Contreras, 40, Presque Isle: operating after revocation.

Branden K. Brewer, 41, Presque Isle: eluding, aggravated operating after revocation, operating under the influence, reckless conduct, driving to endanger, criminal speed, operating an unregistered vehicle and violating conditions of release (two counts).

Gabriel L. Brooker, 18, Caribou: robbery, burglary (two counts), assault and theft by unauthorized taking.

Courtney A. Hartsgrove, 28, Washburn: aggravated trafficking, unlawful possession and criminal forfeiture.

Karen M. Brown, 67, Presque Isle: aggravated assault, domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence assault.

George R. Graves, 45, Presque Isle: tampering with a victim (two counts), domestic violence stalking, domestic violence criminal threatening, domestic violence terrorizing and violating conditions of release (five counts).

Marshall A. McManus, 53, Castle Hill: unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and violating conditions of release (two counts).
