7-Day Outlook: Wednesday, Sept. 3-Tuesday, Sept. 9
Wednesday-Friday
A weak disturbance moves across the Valley this Wednesday with a chance of isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms across the region this afternoon. Any lingering showers subside this evening with partly cloudy skies and patchy fog possible overnight.
High pressure builds across the region Thursday with mostly sunny skies and mild conditions. Clouds begin to increase ahead of an approaching cold front Thursday night with a chance of scattered shower activity after midnight. On Friday, the front moves across the St. John Valley with mostly cloudy skies and showers likely Friday and Friday night.
Saturday-Tuesday
Mostly cloudy skies with showers likely are expected Saturday as another cold front crosses the region. A chance of showers continues behind the front Saturday night with high pressure building in Sunday, though isolated showers remain possible Sunday afternoon through Monday morning. High pressure then produces mostly sunny/mostly clear skies through Tuesday as it builds into the region.
