Wednesday-Friday

An upper-level low will move east while a surface occluded front moves across Maine today and tonight. The front will lift north of the Valley by Thursday morning. Rain is likely this afternoon, tapering to showers with a chance of showers overnight. Patchy fog is possible overnight into Thursday morning. 

The upper low will move north of the region Thursday into Friday with a chance of showers across the St. John Valley Thursday into Friday morning. Partly sunny skies and isolated showers are possible Friday afternoon with partly cloudy skies Friday night with isolated showers possible.

Saturday-Tuesday

A weak upper-level trough will keep partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies over the region Saturday and Sunday with a slight chance of showers Saturday afternoon into the overnight hours. Partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies will persist Sunday with spotty showers possible across the Valley. The upper-level trough will slowly exit the area early next week with isolated showers and partly sunny skies expected Monday, then decreasing cloudiness with precipitation ending early Tuesday. High pressure will build in to the region from Québec with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies over the area Tuesday into Tuesday night.

Today: Areas of fog this morning. A slight chance of rain this morning, then rain this afternoon. Highs in the mid-50s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 25 mph this afternoon. Chance of rain near 100 percent.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain in the evening, then a chance of showers after midnight. Patchy fog. Lows in the upper 30s. South winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Thursday: Patchy fog in the morning. Partly sunny with a 50 percent chance of rain showers. Highs in the lower 50s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain showers, mainly in the evening. Lows in the mid 30s. Southwest winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Friday: Partly sunny. A slight chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Highs around 50. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy. Cold with lows in the upper 20s.

Saturday: Partly sunny in the morning, then becoming mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 40s.
