A pedestrian walking along the Ginn Road in Presque Isle died after being hit by a motor vehicle over the weekend.
Shelby Sanborn, 67, died in the crash, which involved a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Silas Baser, Presque Isle Police Chief Chris Hayes said in a release Monday.
Hayes did not provide additional details, including the circumstances that led to the crash, the type of vehicle involved or whether the driver was injured.
The crash remains under investigation, and the police department has not determined fault or filed charges as of Monday.
The department will provide additional information “when appropriate,” Hayes said.
