French appears first and the English appears below.

“Long live the language”

The Club Français made significant progress last year. We currently dedicate approximately $200,000 annually to our mission of promoting the French language in northern Aroostook.

Mr. and Mrs. Mikesell left us a very generous bequest in their wills, with a single condition: that the funds be used to promote and preserve the French language in northern Maine.

We exist! We speak French with pride and want others to learn it. This is our strength, our inspiration and—we hope—the salvation of the French language in northern Maine.

I invite you to ask your friends and family to join us in this great adventure. Let us create something lasting that will offer a precious gift to our children and inspire a sense of pride among our elders.

So, let us work together for a better future. Let us work together to shape our own destiny.

Long live the French language! Long live the Club Français! Long live the Saint JohnValley! And long life to all our members and paradise at the end of your days. Visit us at aroostookfrench@gmail.com.
