Be it a kitchen, bath or den remodeling job or new construction, the folks at the Kitchen and Bath Shop, located at 2 Reach Road in Presque Isle, have the expertise to design just the right room to suit any need. Owners Susan and David Czosnek have expanded their family-owned and -operated business to include home heating options as well, just in time for those cold winter days that will be here before you know it.
“We opened the Harman section of the store last August. It’s a nice addition to our company. We carry Harman pellet, wood and coal stoves; Heat N Glo gas and wood stoves, Traegar pellet grills and Okanagan pellet units,” said Susan Czosnek.
Harmon products offer customers an alternative to fossil fuels, with “green heating” stoves that provide the warmth families need on cold days, using renewable resources including wood pellets. Harman products also carry tax incentives — a 30 percent tax credit equaling up to $1,500 toward your 2010 taxes.
“Wood pellets are a popular form of heat because they are environmentally friendly, extremely clean burning and cost-effective,” said Czosnek.
The shop opened about two and a half years ago, with several showrooms set up displaying the many products available.
“We’re a showroom where people come, see what they want and place an order. We find what they’re looking for and have the item or items shipped using the quickest methods possible,” she said.
The business does more than just sell Harman products.
“In addition to selling a variety of Harman stoves, we also have a technician on staff to service and clean them. It’s all about making life easier for the customer,” she said.
From kitchen cabinets, counters and shower stalls, to office shelving and new stoves, the Kitchen and Bath Shop has what it takes to make a house a home.
Knowledgeable staff are ready to answer questions and advise customers on the latest product information.
“We have two full-time and two part-time staff members. We provide superior customer service while selling an excellent quality product,” said Czosnek.
The business, located at the intersection of Route 1 and the Reach Road, just north of the Aroostook River bridge, is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. For more information, call 769-9990, visit www.kandbshop.com or e-mail ryan@kandbshop.com.
