Harvest supper to benefit
Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp
A harvest supper and silent auction will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Mapleton Lions Club Hall in Mapleton from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The four-course supper includes soup, salad, entrée of baked chicken breast or roast beef and homemade pies for dessert.
A silent auction featuring over 40 items will be held during the supper. A partial list of items can be seen at www.amhc.org by clicking on “AMHC Services” and then “Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp”. This year’s silent auction features a 2007 ski-doo Bombardier V-800 Legend snowmobile with only 3,000 miles, 4-stroke engine, studded track, carbine skis, reverse, electric start, and hand warmers. Minimum bid on this will be $1,000.
Tickets are $25 and are available by advance sale only. For tickets, contact Jack Foster at jfoster@amhc.org or by calling 498-6431 before September 21.
All proceeds will go to the Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp program, a leadership development and drug prevention program of Aroostook Mental Health Services.
