Guyan, Richard J. Sr., 72, died February 3, 2007 at a Bangor hospital. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
Easton – Richard J. Guyan, Sr., 72, died February 3, 2007 at a Bangor hospital. He was born January 26, 1935 in Worcester, MA, the son of Joseph M. and Natalie (Shepard) Guyan.
He served in the U.S Air Force and the U.S. Navy for many years. Richard had recently been employed at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle and with Jim’s Auto Sales. He enjoyed family outings, antique cars, car shows and Karaoke.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son, Daniel R. Guyan. Surviving him, are two sons, Richard J. Guyan Jr. of Presque Isle and Kevin M. Guyan of Washburn; two daughters, Deborah L. Jacques and Holly J. Kimball and her husband Eric all of Easton; a sister Jackie Johnson of Rochdale, MA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A military graveside service will be held at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Caribou later in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home in Presque Isle. An online guest book is provided at www.duncan-graves.com.
