Humane Society looking for volunteers for Saturday

To the editor:
    The Houlton Humane Society is looking for volunteers for Saturday morning, October 4th, to help clean up the yard at the animal shelter. We have wood that needs to be cut up, which you may take home for fire wood if you wish, burdocks to be mowed, grass to be cut, and brush to be cleaned up.
    If you can help, please come to the Shelter on the Callaghan Road around 9 am on Saturday morning.   If you have a small tractor, please bring it.
    There will also be a yard sale, weather permitting, from 9 am to noon at the Shelter.
