    HOULTON – Donald James O'Donnell, 80, died February 18, 2009, in Houlton. He was born July 8, 1928, in Kent Parish, Canada, the son of John and Lucy (Dugan) O'Donnell.
    He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eileen (Feeney) O'Donnell of Houlton; 13 children,  Lucy Catherine Kennedy, Susan Marie Tarbox both of Plymouth, Carl John O'Donnell of Parkman, Philip James O'Donnell of Plymouth, Gregory Paul O'Donnell of Brunswick, Wayne Edward O'Donnell of Houlton, Andrew Thomas O'Donnell of Orono, Avery Joseph O'Donnell of Houlton, Ruth Ann Ellis of Barrington NH, Kelley Eileen Donahue of Hammond, Michelle Elizabeth Smith of W. Palm Beach, FL, Donald James O'Donnell Jr. of Houlton, Kimberly Ida Nagle of Bangor; 32 grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; siblings, Catherine Fitzpatrick of Littleton, Helen Warner of FL, Margaret Hallett of FL, Stella Marsh of FL, Francis O'Donnell of Houlton, Allen O'Donnell of OH, Clifford O'Donnell of Orrington, Gerald O'Donnell of Derring, NH. He was predeceased by a grandson, Richard Ellis; one sister and two brothers, Alice, Eugene and Dennis.
    Friends called 7-9 p.m. on Friday, February 20 at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street.  A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Father Dave Raymond as celebrant.
