CARIBOU — Officials with S.W. Collins have announced that County native Lea Stedt has joined their team at the building material and hardware dealer’s Home Design Center in Caribou.
Stedt attended Norwich University in Vermont where she received a bachelor of science degree in architectural studies in 2005 and a master of architecture in 2006. Stedt was most recently employed by the architectural firm, David H. Gleason Associates, Inc of Baltimore. As a member of the firm, Stedt was exposed to all aspects of the design process from the initial schematic design through construction administration and was the project manager on several projects including façade renovations for a Baltimore City neighborhood through the National Main Street Center, new commercial properties in an historic town in northern Virginia, and renovations of a 1780s wood building in downtown Baltimore.
President of the S. W. Collins Company, Sam Collins, stated, “We are thrilled to have such a talented individual like Lea to provide design services to the homeowner and the contractor trade for additions and homes.”
As a member of the S.W. Collins staff Lea will be managing the marketing and advertising for the company as well as offering design services for new houses and renovations.
