    MORE THAN HOME improvement items can be found at MPG’s garden center on Parsons St., with the discovery of this tiny bird’s nest in a hanging basket. “ Wendy showed Dave and I the nest and the recent hatchlings in it when we visited the center recently,” said Roberta Griffiths, a member of the Presque Isle Garden Club. Not accustomed to such ‘formations’ in floral arrangements, Griffiths tried to identify the birds based on a shell remnant but was hoping other bird enthusiasts might be able to help. She indicated the shell is blue/green with brown spackling on it – possibly a song sparrow’s nest.
